Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to voluntary sponsorship contributions made at qorven.ai/sponsor to support the open-source development of Qorven, operated by Tekky AI Academy LLP.

1. Nature of contributions

All payments made through our sponsorship page are voluntary contributions to support open-source software development. They are not payments for a product or service and carry no entitlement to any specific deliverable, feature, support commitment, or priority treatment.

2. Refund eligibility

One-time contributions

Refunds for one-time contributions may be requested within 7 days of the transaction date, provided:

The request is submitted by email to legal@qorven.ai from the email address used for the contribution
The transaction reference number is included
The contribution has not already been allocated to project expenses

Recurring contributions

Recurring sponsorships can be cancelled at any time through the relevant platform (Ko-fi, Razorpay). Cancellation stops future charges immediately. Amounts already charged in the current billing period are non-refundable unless there was a billing error.

3. Non-refundable situations

Contributions older than 7 days from the transaction date
Contributions where the sponsor has already received any acknowledged benefit (e.g. logo placement, public recognition)
Duplicate transactions — these will be fully refunded as a billing error correction

4. How to request a refund

Email legal@qorven.ai with:

Subject line: "Refund Request — [Transaction ID]"
Your name and email address used for the transaction
Transaction ID or payment reference number
Amount and date of the contribution
Reason for the refund request (optional)

We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and process eligible refunds within 7–10 business days. Refunds are returned to the original payment method.

5. Payment processor policies

Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment processor used (Razorpay, Ko-fi, PayPal). Processing fees charged by these platforms at the time of the original transaction are non-recoverable and may be deducted from the refund amount.
